Heather Warren

​My name is Heather Warren and I'm so grateful to be sharing my world with you.

I have been a tour guide in the Canadian Rockies for the past six years. I am thankful for my mother for always taking our family out camping and on road trips- some even across Canada! This has given me a natural approach to loving the outdoors. I love tour guiding and being able to show people from other countries why I love this country and why I'm proud to call Canada my home! These pictures are just some ways to show you my backyard. My suggestion? Get out there and experience it yourself! :)

My passion for photography started small (literally). I was blown away by how vibrant and beautiful the colours of the wildflowers were in the Canadian Rockies. I couldn't quite capture the beauty of the flowers with my phone and as I did more seasons in the mountains, I felt an urge to try and capture the beauty of what I am grateful to see daily. I traveled in Thailand with my best friend and she let me use her Nikon and it was then that I realized owning a "real" camera wasn't as intimidating as I made it out to be. When I got back to Canada, I went out and bought my first camera!

Over the past few years, my passion for photography has grown and I've been challenging myself with new lenses, different modes and to take new styles of photos! Currently, I'm obsessed with wildlife and scenery. I thoroughly enjoy candid and natural photos. I've dabbled a little bit in photo shoots but mostly with my family as my test subjects!
